COVID 19 INFORMATION

Please read both of the documents below and understand all the requirements for allowing the boarding of our aircraft concerning COVID 19.

Guidance for COVID Procedures – August 2022

 

Travel from Canada to the United States

Passengers eighteen years of age and older, travelling from Canada to the United States must:

  1. Be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination prior to boarding;
     

  2. Not travel if, any Covid-19 symptoms are present;
     

  3. Passengers under the age of eighteen who are not fully vaccinated must obtain a Covid test within 3 to 5 days following arrival into the United States.

Travel to Canada from another country

All travellers five years of age and older travelling to Canada from another country must use the ArriveCAN app or website (https://www.canada.ca/en/border-services-agency/services/arrivecan.html):

  1. Be fully vaccinated, proof of vaccination is required during the ArriveCAN process;
     

  2. Fully vaccinated travellers may be subject to a random COVID test upon arrival, notification will be sent by email after clearing Customs;  
     

  3. Travellers NOT fully vaccinated must follow the process detailed by ArriveCAN which include pre-entry testing, a quarantine plan and post-arrival testing.

Passengers will require a medical certificate if they are exhibiting COVID like symptoms, an elevated temperature or are unable to wear a face mask due to a medical condition.

Passengers will not be permitted to board if: they exhibit a fever and cough, fever and difficulty breathing, have any reason to suspect they have COVID-19, have been denied boarding of an aircraft in the previous 14 days for medical reasons related to COVID-19 or are subject to a mandatory quarantine order.

Passengers providing false or misleading information about their health are subject to a monetary penalty.

Passengers must be informed they may be subject to measures taken by the provincial, territorial or federal government at the destination airport to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Canada requires all adult passengers to wear a face mask during the boarding process, during the flight and upon arrival while deplaning, exceptions allowed for eating, drinking or taking medication, the United States does not.

Children under six years of age are NOT required to wear a face mask.

HEALTH CHECK CONFIRMATION

Please confirm none of the following situations apply to you;

  1. Do you exhibit a fever and a cough or a fever and breathing difficulties?
     

  2. Do you have Covid-19, have you had it in the previous 10 days, or have reasonable grounds to suspect you have Covid-19, or have you developed signs and symptoms of Covid-19 in the previous 10 days?
     

  3. Are you subject to a mandatory quarantine order as a result of recent travel or as a result of a local or Provincial public health order?
